Leader of Luxury Home Marketing

I am proud to be named by DC Magazine as their Leader of Luxury Home Marketing in this month’s The White House Correspondents Dinner Issue…and proud to share their write up.

“Matt Cheney is the seasoned real estate advisor to turn to when selling or searching for a luxury property in Washington, DC’s top neighborhoods. He’s sold more than $70 million of real estate in the 20007 zip code alone. With over 1,000 successful career transactions in the DMV and seven New Home Builders sales awards, this Luxury Industry Leader is adept at making his clients’ real estate dreams a reality.

Cheney has built his business around meeting clients where they’re at, so he’s knowledgeable about Upper Northwest, Chevy Chase, McLean and all points in between and adjacent. He’s a well-known figure in the market, with many recognizing him for his devoted work marketing and selling new condos and townhouse developments like Foxhall Ridge. “Call me Mr. Foxhall,” jokes Cheney.

This real estate maven has been enamored by architecture since childhood when he would sketch and fantasize about grand homes. Through persistence, perseverance, hard work, and dedication, Cheney has built his dream career.
One of Cheney’s proudest career moments came when a family friend hired him to sell their investment property, which allowed them to buy a fabulous, newly-built home and sell their primary home.

“We did all three transactions in one year with amazing results. Then, they referred me to two of their friends who also purchased. When a client does repeat business with you and can safely recommend you to their friends and family, there is no better compliment, let alone metric, to measure your real estate practice by,” says Cheney.

In his free time, Cheney enjoys shooting marketing videos of his listings for his social channels, as well as helping with his daughters’ school.”
